History

Although the home was not present on the 1908 atlas of Llanerch, a real estate transaction shows it being sold by Charles W. Schultz (realtor for the Llanerch estate) to Joseph McAnally for $1,500 as a plot of land, to which the home was presumably built upon.

1920 census: Irish-descent leather manufacturer Joseph and his wife Katherine are living with their family.

John died in 1952, and the family lived in the home at least until that time. John Bannan lived in the home at least from 1963 to 1967, and by 1983, the home was up for sale. It was sold that year by the Curry family to the Hodgsons for $78,000. In 1998, he sold the home to its current owners for $157,500.
